You ever wonder where you are going and where you will end up? So often, we are bombarded by thoughts of our future and also of things were should or should not do. There are many choices in life. Some are easy to figure out and others are not so easy. Then if that is not tough enough, you have well-meaning family and friends trying to tell you what they think you should or should not be doing. Is that not maddening? The Main thing is that: IT is only our Heavenly Father above that really knows where we are going. And because of that, we have God telling us in His word that we need not worry about tomorrow. Matt 6:34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. How is that? You may be having troubles financially. You may be having arguments in your marriage. Your parents or your kids, they may not see eye to eye with you and you feel like you are losing ground with these matters. You ask yourself, where is this all going to end? It is enough to drive yourself crazy. It is hard not to sit there and imagine where your path is headed. You want to have a change in your life; a change of direction. But, God says not to worry. Well, lets look at this. |

There are some necessary changes that God does expect from us in regards to where our path may be heading: FIRST: Are you saved? What direction are you headed? Are you headed in a path that leads to destruction? Job 22:15 Will you keep to the old path that evil men have trod? Prov 4:14 Do not set foot on the path of the wicked or walk in the way of evil men. God warns us that this type of direction/path is one that will lead you away from the safety and protection of God and His perfect will for you. Decide right now that the only path you want is that that leads to God!! Pray to Him and ask Him to come into your life and lead you to the right way as said in John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. 19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God." Let God be the light that enters your life so that you may be able to be led by God into the right path. Ask Jesus to become Lord of your life and accept his death and resurrection of life for your own salvation. Ask Him to forgive you of your sins and then strive to lead a life that is correct and full of God. Read God's word give in the Bible. Then, go to a righteous God fearing and Holy Spirit filled church for your fellowship with others. After you have prayed and asked Jesus to be Lord of your life and you have accepted Him as saviour, then God's miracles can begin. He now has perfect opportunity to lead you into the right path. Now, you won't have to worry where you'll end up because God now has you listening to His direction. SECOND: Read God's word and spend time talking with Him each day. Tell Him what you would like Him to do for you. If He thinks it is the right thing for you, He will do it. Matt 6:8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. Or also, Matt 7:7 "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. And also: John 15:7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. Now, when you have that assurance, and you are the child of God, saved through Jesus, you can then be rested and assured that God will provide for your future and lead you onto that path that is right and He will give you the direction you need. You won't have to worry about anything. You will only know and be confident that God is leading you on the path of His perfect will for you. Rom 8:5-6 Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. 6 The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace; When we start to live as by what God wants for us, there is a freedom that can not be compared with. We know that we have an awesome God that is always there to take us in the direction where we should go. We have a peace that only comes from surrendering our path unto His path. Even Jesus, prayed for His father's will to be done and not His. Luke 22:41-42 He withdrew about a stone's throw beyond them, knelt down and prayed, 42 "Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done." Through this, Jesus was given the peace that God needed for Him to have for His path. I am so excited for you and for what God can and will do for you. Surrender your goals and path to Him.
