How often are we bogged down with burdens in our daily life.  We suffer so much while going through things that cross our way.  Whether it is disease, financial problems, loss of a loved one, life is not always easy.  We have a hard time sometimes even getting up in the morning and saying your first "Good Morning" to your loved ones and even your co-workers/classmates.  We go through life just settling for something less than a happy life.  How great would it be just to be happy?  We can't even try to ask for joy or contentment.  That seems a distant memory.  The rate of suicide and depression has skyrocketed in our society.

The use of antidepressants and anti-anxiety medication has risen to an all-time high.  You think that Christians are exempt from this, but they can sometimes be the main target.  Counselors and pastors are themselves taking these type drugs just to manage their flock and keep the pace going.  How sad and what a commentary that this speaks about us as a nation under God.    This trend is a basic epidemic that Satan has used as an arsenal to target well meaning people-those that live and breathe around you.  Maybe even you.

I write this to you to let you know that you do not have to live this way.  You do not have to settle for less than a peaceful joyful life..  You may be asking yourself,  " Well, I have heard this before."  I know where this is going."   Now, don't quit now.  I know what I am speaking about!  You are reading the writing of someone who was stuck on these antidepressants and anti-anxiety meds.  You are also talking to someone who God has been set free, Halleluia!!! From these same drugs!!!  I know that he came to give life and life more abundantly  (read .John 10:10)

"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."

Don't give up hope.  God is the God of the impossible.  He only can give you the peace of mind you are looking for.  When you are overcome with trials and hardships, don't look at how big the mountain is…look at instead of how big the mountain mover (God) is!!   (Read Matt 21:21)

"Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done."

Have peace and adopt the mind of Christ.  He teaches us to renew our minds (Read Rom 12:2)

"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."  God never meant for us to be bound up with our burdens.  We need to surrender them to the Lord and then He can take care of our needs.  We must let the Master Carpenter get in there and help us and administer the peace that only He can give.  Peace that passes understanding.  We can learn to trust Him in all things and that will give us release from our day to day pressures.  When we can see that we don't have to carry all of this, we can then begin to experience true peace and freedom.  Pray and surrender your burdens to Him today.  (Read: 1 Pet 5:7)

"Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you."

Let his peace roll over you and embrace you today.  Learn to trust Him in ALL things.  When you let go of it, then you can come to see the promise of what He is willing to do for you.  Rest in the assurance that His plans are good ones for you life.  There is NO pill that can do that for you.  It has been years since my experience with those drugs and since I have learned the lesson, I have NEVER been tempted to take those things.  When my eyes are stayed steadfast on HIM, I have what I need and that is Jesus.  He has always worked out circumstances for me and my family, since We learned to surrender to Him and let Him handle our day to day..  He is the God of all things big and small and He cares that much for you.  Won't you start your journey today by praying and surrendering your all to Him.  And when you do, leave it there with Him.  Don't take it back!!!!  Let Him take care of it.   I love ya.  I trust that the Holy Spirit has spoken and touched you through this message.  Write and let me know.
