Reel

Destiny is just a word until you actually see it come true

Life is crazy sometimes and it's easy to not remember that we have a destiny

What is it really that we are going towards?

What is it really that God wants us to do?

Where does God want to take us in life?

Is it up to us to seek Him first?

Or is it the other way around?

God is not imaginary

He never will be

Then why are we waiting for a bolt of lightening to hit us in the butt

After that happens we actually get the picture of what we need to do

Isn't it God just saying to wake up and seek me?

Struggling with so many things you don't have a clue to where you are going next

Letting it up to God is the best thing to do

Many times it doesn't happen that way

Rushing matters

Hmm…When did that ever get us anywhere in life?

Think of God as a fisherman…

We are the biggest fish in the sea that he tries to bait with his awesome destiny

But us as the fish we are more tempted with the other hook lines that we go for those first

God isn't going to change the bait because of the other hooks

It's up to us to go for the right one, or maybe God's hook is the hardest one to get

Going for the others is easy, but in reality once you quit fighting

God's hook it's the easiest one to get a hold of.

When you are in the boat God finally smiles and say,

"You finally made it, you are home now for a season"

At that point you are thinking

"Why didn't I just take that one in the first place?"

God is patient and He'll wait for you

He isn't going to compromise himself for you when you make stupid decisions

Your stupid mistakes aren't His fault as much as we try to blame it on him

He patiently waits till you are tired enough and then He'll reel you in

Once He reels you in you aren't going to want to go back in the sea

But sooner or later it's going to be time for you to go back

God throws you back but you know that He'll always have that line waiting for you

Next time maybe even a net for other fish to come to the boat.
